Member's Information for finding your way around TGP easier:
Be sure to check for your messages in the box at the top of the Home Page above the Gathering Place Forum Index. You will find that in the left hand corner of the box. Just click on the sentence telling you if you have any new messages.
In the right hand corner of that same box, click, “View posts since your last visit”, to find what has been posted since you last visited the website.
Is there a way to skip to the newest post in a thread here? I don't know if that's something we put in our preferences or if it's even available in this kind of bulletin board. Probably a Geoff question, eh? _________________ Gardenwife.com - My blog and gallery

Actually it is one I have already asked him. It is a real pain having to go all the way to the bottom to find a way to get to the latest post. He hasn't had time to look at it but I will refresh his memory on that one. (I think when it is a woman talking to a a man, maybe I should just call it nagging. ) I probably am beginning to qualify for mother-in-law jokes with him.
If you're looking at a list of threads, there is a "magic icon" that will take you to the latest post in that thread. It only takes you to the LATEST post, not the last post YOU saw, though.
I was just reading on a bulletin board where someone wrote inquiring about a "go to latest post" kind of mod available for these boards. I don't subscribe to the paid forum where they were talking about it, though, so I couldn't see the answer! LOL _________________ Gardenwife.com - My blog and gallery

Was that question on a bulletin board that is associated with this site? I copied and pasted a picture of what is available at DG and sent it to Geoff so he would know what to look for but he hasn't replied to my request yet. We really need to be able to look at the latest posts that have been made by everyone. Thanks for that info. You are on the ball! (As always)
I need to look in my browser history and see where that bulletin board was. There's got to be some mod out there for this kind of thing. It would be dependent on cookies since they would show the last post the visitor read in the chosen thread. _________________ Gardenwife.com - My blog and gallery
