A Shared Recipe

I didn't have potatoes,
so I substituted rice.

Didn't have paprika,
so I used another spice.

I didn't have tomato sauce,
so I used tomato paste.

A whole can not a half can -
I don't believe in waste.

My friend gave me the recipe -
She said you couldn't beat it.

There must be something wrong with her,
I couldn't even eat it.

Web Cake
By Zanymuse

Take one free forum program, Use a generous dose of prayer and mix well with a CajuninKY. Sprinkle in a Smokeythedog for speedy delivery and a Mary for adventure. For helpful hints and excellent advice be sure to add an Al.

Blend in a writer like Sharran with a Bible Sender of yeast to make it rise and for a down home flavor add a Martha, Wayne, fsr333 (of Starr quality) to (help us soar), and garnish the place with a Snookie.

If you get too close to the oven, just treat it with our friend Aloe.

When mixed together you will have something that can make a Zanymuse grin.

Peeling a Potato

This sounds like a good idea, if it works.
I wish I had known about this forty years ago.  Peeling the cooked potato was the least desirable part in making a potato salad.  Enjoy.

No need for a peeler.......

You read it right. Didn't believe it myself. Thought my cajun cooking chef Momma was losing her mind but i tried it and it works like a charm.

1 cup AP flour
1 cup oil

Mix with a whisk to get rid of lumps.
Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Remove and stir. Then mocrowave in 1 minute or 30second spurts, stirring after each spurt, until it is as dark as you like.
