H.R. 45: A Call to Action
H.R. 45 is the most sweeping gun control bill of recent memory. If passed, H.R. 45 will create a national gun registry database of all privately owned guns as the first step toward citizen disarmament.

Although the AARP says it is not "officially" endorsing President Obama's healthcare reform, it is conducting a huge and costly television ad campaign in support of ObamaCare and hosted the president at an online forum recently to promote his agenda to AARP members.

Warning To All Parents and Grandparents
Obama wants to indoctrinate your children to his socialist agenda. On Tuesday Sept. 8th at 12 noon central time, Obama will address school children nationwide and has asked that the message he delivers be broadcast directly into America's classrooms.
In the disguise of encouraging children to do better in school, Obama is expected to talk about his changes to our nation and to encourage students to help him by bringing his message home to their parents.
He is also asking the children to write down what they can do to help him with his agenda. These lists will be collected and the children will be later asked what they had done to meet the goals they listed!
This appears to be nothing short of brainwashing our children.
Please call your school district office and ask them if the broadcast will be shown at your school. If they say 'yes', express your disapproval.
If your school is going to participate in this, I encourage you keep your children home on Sept. 8th.

No Official Language
Did you know that the United States is one of just a few countries that does not have an official national language? And did you know that our government spends an estimated $5 billion dollars per year providing services and programs in more than 200 languages?
That's right, over $5 billion dollars per year so that immigrants who refuse to learn English can receive government benefits and become citizens and vote. It was Bill Clinton that signed an Executive Order mandating this. Now immigrants do not have the incentive to learn English that they once had.
Past polls show that over 82% of the American people want English as our official language. Year after year, a bill ( The English Language Unity Act) has been introduced in Congress to make English as our official language, yet Congress has refused to act.
Please contact your two US Senators and your US Representative and ask them to co-sponsor “The English Language Unity Act.” Remind them that no nation can stay strong without a common national language. Not having an official language is dividing our nation along ethnic and language lines.
The swine flu vaccine has now been hit by cancer fears. German lung specialist Wolfgang Wodarg said that the nutrient solution for the vaccine consists of cancerous cells from animals, and fears that your risk of cancer could be increased by injecting these cells into your body. He also said the vaccine can cause worse side effects than the actual swine flu virus.

Smoke & Mirrors?
Re: Obama's message to a captive audience of our nation's school children.
The US Dept. of Education (DOE) study guide asked the teachers to have their students write down what they thought they could do to help Obama reach his goals. These would then be collected and then at a latter date, the students would be asked if they followed through on their goal of helping Obama.
The DOE then dropped this suggestion because of public outcry. Did Obama also change his intended speech to our school children? The message he gave did not reflect what the DOE study guide suggested he would say.
I heard Obama's speech live on the radio. His message was strictly about staying in school, studying hard and about personal responsibility. (Imagine, Obama calling for personal responsibility!) Obama spoke of his troubles in school and how he coped with his problems.
Was Obama's message designed to get the children on his side? Would the children go home and tell their parents what a wonderful man he is?
And was the timing of this message, the day before his speech to Congress and the nation on his health care plan intentional?
Don't be fooled by his smooth speech.

Our Senators are now back in DC. One of the first things on the agenda is Cap & Trade. The Cap & Trade bill, which will destroy what is left of our economy, is necessary to fund Obamacare!
Be sure your two US Senators know you are opposed to Cap & Trade and that you want them to oppose this tyrannical and unconstitutional bill.
Remind them that CO2 is NOT a pollutant. It is a necessary element for all plant life and that plant life is necessary for all life on our planet. CO2 makes up such a small percentage of our atmosphere, that even doubling the amount would have little or no effect on our climate.

Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) shouts "you lie" during Obama's health care speech to Congress on Wednesday evening. Wilson later issued an apology. "I let my emotions get the best of me, I extend sincere apologies to the president." .
But the question remains, was Wilson right? In their fact-checking, the press confirmed five lies told by Obama during his speech,
LIE #1: "No federal dollars will be used to fund abortions."
TRUTH: The Capps Amendment to HR 3200, Section 4B reads: “...abortions for which the expenditure of Federal funds are permitted..."
LIE #2: "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period."
TRUTH: The Democrat controlled Congressional Budget Office said Obamacare would add $220 billion to the deficit.
LIE #3: "Don't pay attention to those scary stories about how your benefits will be cut...That will never happen on my watch. I will protect Medicare."
TRUTH: The Washington Post reports Obama proposes "to squeeze more than $500 billion out of the growth of Medicare over the next decade....”
LIE #4: "If you lose your job or change your job, you will be able to get coverage."
TRUTH: Whether working or not, rich or poor, you will be ordered to get mandatory government-run health-care coverage, or pay a fine. ..
LIE #5: "The claim, made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but prominent politicians, that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens, such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple."
TRUTH: Mandatory "end of life" counseling in HR 3200 "shall" include counseling every 5 years to the elderly, giving doctors a monetary incentive to persuade you to sign a "do not resuscitate" order. The Obama administration already pressures all Veterans to sign them.
Just to be sure your US Senators and your US Representative know that you are opposed to any federal takeover of your health care or health care insurance, contact them again and tell them again.
And remind them again that there is no Constitutional authority for them to even be involved in the discussion of your health care.

Constitution Day
Constitution Day is an unobserved Federal Holiday that was established in 2004 by the passage of the Constitution Day Act. Previously, the day had been called Citizenship Day. Constitution Day recognizes the ratification of the United States Constitution. It falls on September 17 the day it was signed at the U.S. Constitutional Convention in 1787.
The United States was formed as a Republic, not a democracy. In a republic all laws must follow the “Rule of Law” of its Constitution, not the temporary whims of the people, as in a democracy. Professor Alexander Tyler (1787): “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse (generous gifts) from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that the democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”
The United States Constitution was written to keep the federal government small and to keep the power and sovereignty within the individual states. Article 1, Section 8, lists the 18 categories that Congress has authority and the power to act upon. All the current bills (Health Care, Cap & Trade, Hate Crimes, etc.) presently in Congress (as were most bills passed in recent years) are not authorized by our Constitution.
When it came time to sign our new constitution in 1787, several state delegates would not sign unless it contained a bill of rights. The Federalists felt the Constitution so limited the government, this was not necessary, the people's rights were state issues and the states already had bills of rights. However, in order to get the new Constitution ratified, a Bill of Rights was drawn up.
The first ten amendments to our Constitution is our Bill of Rights, they were ratified on Dec.15th, 1791. Our Bill of Rights does not grant any rights, it protects our preexisting God-given rights from the government or any majority. The Bill of Rights restrains the government, not the people and it is the government's job to see that these rights are protected. Perhaps a better name would have been a Bill of Restraints!
However, even with these restraints our Presidents, our Congresses and our Supreme Courts have ignored and failed to protect our rights. Our Presidents and our Congresses have ignored our Constitution and have gone way beyond their Constitutional powers. As a result our federal government has grown huge since the 1930’s.
How do they get away with this? “We the People” allow them to! It is time to educate the American people and to get them to fight back.

Cap and Trade Looms Large
By a vote of 219-212 on June 26, the US House of Representatives passed the mind numbing 1200 page American Clean Energy Security Act of 2009 (H.R. 2454). Since it was first introduced on May 15, very little discussion was allowed. “We're taking decisive and historic action,” said the committee Chairman Henry Waxman, (D-CA). Waxman is responsible for piloting the bill through the House along with his co-sponsor, Ed Markey (D-MA).
While Waxman may be right that the bill is decisive and historic, most economists claim it is a massive energy tax under the guise of protecting the environment.

It’s Baaack!
Every year since the mid 1970s, the UNs Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) has come before the US Senate for ratification and every year it has been rejected by the American people and the Senate.
This year, The Council on Foreign Relations is demanding ratification and Hillary Clinton has sent a memo to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee declaring that LOST is a top priority.
Senate Majority Leader, Harry Read is putting LOST on the “fast track,” hoping to push it through before the American grassroots notices.
LOST is part of a UN plan for a global program of taxation. This plan would involuntarily transfer wealth and technology from the developed world to the third world.
All ship movements (including our military), fishing, and the exploration and production of oil and minerals on and under the open seas would require permission from and taxation by the UN.
We must not allow the UN to take control of the open sea. This would be disastrous to the defense of our nation and our economy.
Please contact your two US Senators and tell them the American people do not want to get LOST!
