Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; Colossians 4:2 NKJV
Epaphras, who is [one] of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. Colossians 4:12 NKJV
I'm feeling quite convicted about my prayers. When I read words like earnestly, vigilant, and laboring fervently, my prayers feel superficial and not full of the heart that they should be. I can pray regularly, religiously, faithfully and still not be "laboring." The bar is high.
The world needs our prayers more than ever. The Holy Spirit is whispering, "Pray, pray, pray, and don't stop." Can you hear it?

Along the subject of prayer, I've felt for a long time, probably years, that God wanted me to start a routine of praying three times a day much like Daniel did. Well, today I read a blog post by someone I work with that just started the conviction up all over again. It's a discipline that God, obviously to me, is serious that I start. Not only did Daniel do this, but the early Christians did too. Read about it here: http://is.gd/2frBs
