My tomatoes are doing great and still no worms. I have learned a few things about bale gardening by trial and error this season. I have learned that caging the tomatoes is not the best method. As the bales decompose the cages fall over and I am dealing with that now. But I have loads of cherry tomatoes to eat. We have salad every night! I also have one Yellow Jubilee plant for myself. The lower acidity is better for my stomache.

I haven't tried fishing with them and also have no experience with feeding them to other birds. Come to think of it, I haven't seen one in years so they must have all gone to your house.

It seems that we used to have them all the time but for the last couple of years we haven't been plagued by as many. I kind of thought maybe the birds were eating them, but I have no clue if that is correct or not. We feed the birds in the garden area and the birds are there eating seeds on the plants that I leave for them to nibble on. (I don't dead-head their favs) If anyone knows if fish like them, let us know please. Not that I ever get to go fishing these days. Very Happy
