What Is Coming This Year?What Is Coming This Year?What is coming this year? Many people would like to know. Some people will consult mediums who will look into crystal balls and decks of cards to tell the future. Some will read horoscopes. Some will consult fake spiritual ministers who claim to know what is coming in the future.* Did you ever stop to think that knowing the future could be frightening? If you knew what was going to happen in the year ahead you might be scared to death. The Bible tells us that, "It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) How would your life change if you knew that this year you were going to die and immediately face God's judgment? You would make many changes in your daily life. Different things would be top priority. Lifestyle changes would take place. Morality would be different. You might even find more time for praying and reading God's word. Too many people live like they have an eternity to live before they will have to face God. Too many act like they will have to live ten or twenty more years before they must get their spiritual lives together. The truth is that we do not know that we have that long. We must learn to live as though judgment is coming tomorrow! * Rev 21:8 KJV But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. |
