I have been married to my wife, Jane, for over fifty years and we have two children, both married, and two grandsons. Our grandsons, who are still in school, have their own ministries in music and preaching and are planning to go into full time ministry. Our daughter has Muscular Dystrophy and we covet your prayers for her and her family. I have been studying the Bible for more than 30 years and have been teaching the Bible for more than 30 years. I have written a manuscript, which walks you through the Bible, and I am waiting for someone to publish it.
I grew up on a small farm in Tennessee with a family of ten including my grandfather, who lived with us. I have four brothers and two sisters. We attended Sunday school and worship services every Sunday at a small country church. During a summer revival, at the age of eleven, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and was baptized in a local river.
After we were married and began raising a family, I began to drift away from the Lord. We continued to go to church regularly but my relationship with Jesus was somewhat distant. My mind was focusing on problems in the workplace and I reached a point where I began to have doubts about my salvation. Early in the 1970's, I rededicated my life to the Lord and began seriously seeking God's will for my life. During this time, I discovered how the Holy Spirit works in a Christian's life.
Jane and I started going to a special in-depth Bible study and I began to understand God's Word. For the first time, I was exposed to Bible teaching explaining Biblical prophecy and I felt God's call on my life to teach the Bible. During the next few years, with an intense home Bible study program and two educational trips to Israel, I became able to visualize the entire Bible in my mind. Since my background is in education and business systems, I began to study the Bible from a systematic point of view and discovered that God has as much design in the Bible as he did in His physical creation.
In the early 80,s, I began to feel the call of God on my life to use my new Biblical mindset to organize the materials that I had accumulated into a manuscript. The manuscript traces the golden thread of redemption within the Bible from Genesis through Revelation with a major emphasis on systematic theology and Biblical prophecy. God has used the process of the writing of this manuscript, which covered many years, to teach me the deeper truths of the Bible.
I have been teaching Sunday school for more than 30 years. After my retirement in 1999, I began teaching special classes using chapters from this God inspired manuscript and expanding upon the teaching in the classroom. Along the way, other materials such as the teaching of Islam have been added.
I also have a deep love for prophecy and have been pursuing that study for over 35 years. Prophecy has become one of the main emphases of my teaching ministry.
Using the materials that I have accumulated over the years, I am now privileged to use the Web to expand my teaching ministry. I pray that this teaching will help lead the lost to Christ and the children of God to a closer walk with Him. I have a deep burden for the unsaved and the carnal Christians of the world. My prayer is that, in everything I write, Jesus will be glorified.
