2 Corinthians 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Dear God in heaven, please open the eyes of the people in this nation and let us elect a Godly man into the highest office in our land who has his first allegiance to you and then our country. When he follows you, we know his leadership can be trusted. We need your holy hand in decisions that will be made. Bring down false prophets among us and give us discernment. Some people can't see beyond a few dollars they have been promised. Heal our land and help us return to you for all our needs. You are our provider. Without you we are nothing, and with no hope for our children and their children's children. Protect us in the days to come and provide us the victory we need so that we may glorify your name.
You know our hearts. You know what we need before we ask it. This election is in your Holy hands Lord. Your word says if we turn from our wicked ways and call on your name you will heal our land. This nation was founded on your name and we were prosperous. I pray this will be so again, and you will restore all that has been taken from us.

WARNING to the Christians of the United States and of This World

Become Aware of the fact that Satan is all around us and he and his demons are doing their best to conquer this world a little bit at the time. It seems that the people in this country are “tiptoeing through the tulips” that are planted in a bed of unseen quicksand. They are happily going about their daily lives deliberately wearing blinders to keep them from clearly seeing all that is rapidly deteriorating about them. They are almost like the animals in the children’s story of “Chicken Little” that can’t see what she is talking about when she tells them the sky is falling, and they really don’t care as long as their own world doesn’t change.
It is amazing to me that no matter how many warnings are given by the people who see through the plans that evil politicians have for this country and this world and how many danger signs are almost unbelievably placed before their very eyes, they just go blindly on in their “Chicken Little” worlds ignoring the Devil at their own doorsteps. Satan is king of this earth NOW and people don’t seem to recognize that. He is gaining physical geography and mental territory every day and only God and his angels can do anything about that. You would think that people would be falling down on their knees and praying day and night to be delivered from the terrible evil and fate that Satan has in store for them. Such is not the case for as long as their lives aren’t changed, they go happily and blindly on in their happy little worlds acquiring their latest toys and possessions and enjoying the fascinating new world of technical toys and unbelievable new technology. New cars, new houses, new entertainment and possessions have almost become their gods. Meanwhile Satan is slowly but surely capturing country after country for himself under the disguise of rulers who are terrorizing the populations of the countries that they control. Christians in such countries are being terrorized and slaughtered daily while the people in this country ignore it because it is too far away to be of any great consequence to them. We send missionaries to these places and their lives are in danger every day, their living conditions many times are sub-standard and it is almost like they are pretty much forgotten by most of the people here at home. These people are fighting Satan daily in very real and dangerous circumstances but meanwhile back here at home people are having a good time and don’t give it much thought. They just figure that if that is what those people choose to do, that it doesn’t really have anything to do with them.
Many churches are watering down their teachings in order to appeal to the masses and the pastors are preaching “feel good” sermons and encouraging the members to give to the churches in order for them to “grow” their memberships. The physical size of the church buildings and grounds is of great importance and expanding these facilities is top priority. Staffs of these churches make fabulous salaries and much of the membership’s tithe money is committed to such growth and activities. These “feel good” churches are becoming the norm rather than the exception. The higher up authorities of the denominations that are encouraging this practice are scratching their heads and wondering why it isn’t working for them and therefore they are trying even harder to put a bandage on the cancer and to “grow the churches”. Winning lost souls for the Lord has taken a backseat to this sort of activity. Meanwhile the spiritually lost world is dying all around us and we are too blind to see the forest for the trees. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Political Unrest and What Is a Christian to Do About It?
Part Two of the Series
Governmental politics is tearing countries and families apart faster than almost anything else we are facing today. In these days of “political correctness” a person can be stepping into the firing line of anger and hatred merely because they stand up for some organization or political party no matter what direction that group goes in their ideas and ideals or lack of ideals. People have been carefully trained over a very short period of time to not step on another person’s toes by always trying to be “politically correct” in everything they say. I think that one factor has made most people afraid to speak up concerning almost any subject these days because there is always some person or group of people who will be offended by what is said. It has gotten almost as silly as someone getting angry with another person over what brand of tea they drink or what kind of car they choose to drive. I think that political correctness has hampered freedom of speech tremendously. Preachers are afraid to take a stand over almost anything these days for fear of looking like they belong to some particular political party or aren’t siding with whatever ridiculous thing that may be coming down the pike at that particular time. There are even ongoing attempts at legislation in our country to outlaw such attempts and silence people who might take a stand against many different current trends. People in other countries that were only recently thought to be places of free speech are now being taken to court and fined and/or jailed because of the oral or written stands they are taking against certain things and/or people. We are rapidly becoming a world in which only the controlling forces of a country can feel free to speak up against almost anything at all. In such countries, Satan can take charge quite easily because silencing the people is one of the first steps toward taking total control of them. When people become afraid of speaking out against what they consider unjust or evil then it is only a short step to their being controlled completely.
Satan has tried to control this world ever since he and his fallen angels were thrown out of heaven. In these “end times” on earth before he and his angels are thrown into the lake of fire, he is going to pull every trick possible to control the world. When we read the newspapers and look at the nightly news on TV we see many of the terrible things that are happening in this world such as the latest natural disasters, wars and rumors of wars, political unrest and things that were once considered sinful flaunted in front of audiences that are becoming less and less shocked by what they see. We see the results of man’s inhumanity to man, brutal and inhumane treatment of others, and on and on. These things are tearing the world apart and it should be obvious to us that Satan is having a wonderful time destroying everything that is within his ability to destroy.
Since most Christians are familiar with what is occurring in these last days on planet earth, it would benefit us greatly if we would analyze everything that goes on around us in light of Bible scriptures. We should all study our Bibles and particularly Bible prophecy as much as possible and pray continually asking the Lord for strength and guidance. We need to realize that the Lord tells us in his Word what will occur in the “end times” and we are assured of the fact that the Lord wins in the end and that Satan loses.

Obama won the election.
Obama won the Electoral College votes.
Obama wants to bring about change.
Can you remember another time when people asked for something and God gave it to them?
1st Samuel 8 comes to mind.
1 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.
2 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beersheba.
3 And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

Put Everything to Prayer
Spend your time reaching out to the lost before it is too late. There is not much time left. If we are not doing the Lord's work, then we are wasting our time. God is looking for obedience to His Word. Do His will while we still have time left on this earth.
If the Lord comes back tomorrow, are you ready? Are your friends and family members saved or are you just concerned about yourself and meeting your own needs? You asked for a president to lead this country. Where will he lead us? I don't know what the future holds with our president but I do know what the future holds for us from God. Put your faith and trust in God while there is still time. Repent of your sins and be obedient to His Word.
Colossians 3:
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
