Touchy Subjects

God Will Never Bless Gay Marriages
Jessaly Bailey

Jackson Sun (Jackson, TN newspaper)

Since every Tom, Dick and Harry has weighed in with their opinions on homosexual marriages, I certainly want to opine on this subject. So let's just cut to the chase and get right to the point. There never has been, is not now, nor will there ever be homosexual marriage. This may come as a surprise to that teeny percentage of people who practice homosexual behaviors, and who recently rushed out to get a sham marriage license; however, this bunch will adjust to their place in society as soon as the dust settles.

So far, our national debate on homosexuality has been peppered with touchy-feely arguments about the rights of this group to "marry" amongst themselves. I am not concerned with the emotional aspect of this debate. But I will address some of the FACTS about marriage in this chosen alternate lifestyle. As Sgt. Joe Friday used to say on Dragnet, "just the facts m'am."

The first fact about marriage, and the only fact that really counts, is that marriage is ordained by God and is a covenant relationship between a man and a woman. This purposeful arrangement perfected by God is for humankind to pro-create within the bonds of marriage, and to establish families and homes. For ages and eons, diverse religions, cultures and laws have recognized and adopted God's divine blueprint for the institution of marriage, home and family. But today, that is being challenged.

Fact number two is some homosexuals in America want our religions, cultures and laws changed to accommodate their perverse version of marriage. Fact number three is this can't happen. Since religions, cultures and laws did not create marriage (God did), religions, cultures and laws can't undo God's magnificent design for marriage. Webster's dictionary defines marriage as the mutual relationship of husband and wife, and the institution whereby men and women are joined in a special kind of social and legal dependence for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family. So, since homosexuals can never be a part of God's marriage plan, the least they can hope to achieve regarding marriage rights, is to redefine marriage in religions, cultures and laws. It will certainly be interesting to see the new cultural and lawful definition of marriage, if per chance our courts allow this foolishness to prevail. Will the new definition of marriage stipulate unions between a man and a woman, and two "hes" and two "shes," and two or more "whatevers?"

Fact number four is a clinical fact about homosexual marriages. When two of the same sex marry, pro-creation in these unions is not possible. God saw to that. Pointing out this fact to homosexual activists drives them nuts. But the medical fact of the matter is, in order for two males to create and reproduce a baby, they will have to borrow or rent a female womb. If two females want to produce offspring, they must locate some male sperm. It's God's biology. Of course these homosexual activists are quick to counter that they can have children in their unions by adopting children, but ah, the fact is they can't reproduce between themselves. Therefore, no lineage.

The last fact that I want to address is that if all religions, cultures, and laws somehow changed to allow same-sex marriages, homosexuals could not and would not be married. You see, it's so simple. God, the creator of everything, (no, we didn't get "banged" into being), has defined marriage, and nobody, no way, no time, no where, can redefine his glorious plan. It's an absolute standard. The Godless, faux, homosexual marriages will be nothing more than culturally deviant, politically correct, religiously tolerated unions sanctioned by the courts. All of the heterosexuals who marry God's way will always be the real deal, and folks, that's a fact!

Holidays and the ACLU

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

Aug 15, 2004
In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation for Easter and Passover holidays and decided to contact the local ACLU about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all their holidays while the atheists had no holiday to celebrate. The ACLU jumped on the opportunity to once again pick up the cause of the godless and assigned their sharpest attorneys to the case.

The case was brought before a wise judge who after listening to the long, passionate presentation of the ACLU lawyers promptly banged his gavel and declared, "Case dismissed!" The lead ACLU lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? Surely, the Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. And the Jews - why, in addition to Passover they have Yom Kippur and Hanukkah . . . and yet my cli! ent and all other atheists have no such holiday!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, "Obviously your client is too confused to know about or for that matter even celebrate the atheists' holiday!" The ACLU lawyer pompously said, "We are aware of no such holiday for atheists. Just when might that be, your honor?" The judge said, "Well, it comes every year on exactly the same date - April first!

'The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'" - Psalm 14:1, Psalm 53:1
