Thoughts while pulling weeds. The other day I was out pulling weeds at one end of our deck in preparation for the Labor Day weekend. We were thinking of having some family over, so we thought it would be a good idea to clear out the "jungle". It's amazing how these stupid weeds and vines can get tangled up in everything in so short a time. Ok, not so short a time, like 4 months. I know this is not new, but as I was pulling these vines out from between the picket fence, I thought of how quickly sin can wrap around and through our lives. I may be strong enough to pull these entangled weeds out of my yard, but only Jesus is strong enough to pull the sin out of or lives, if we ask Him to.
