Words We Choose
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
Psalms 19:14
Serenity Prayer
God, grant me serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, courage to change the things that I can and wisdom to know the difference.
Show me your ways, O Lord;
Teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me
For you are the God of my salvation;
On you I wait all the day.
Psalm 25 4-5

REST
Luke 9:1-10
Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while. —Mark 6:31
Hobbies, vacations, and wholesome recreation are vital to a well-balanced, godly life. We lose our effectiveness by keeping our lives so tightly strung that we are always tense. If it seems we can't relax, Jesus may be inviting us to take a break—to "come aside . . . and rest a while."
If our body, soul, and spirit
Are to function at their best,
Time is needed for renewal,
Time for leisure, time for rest.

Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God
is the object of our faith; the only faith
that saves is faith in Him.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:2-6 NKJV
Observe and do do all of His commandments:
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Blessed shalt thou be in the city,
and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body,
and the fruit of thy ground,
and the fruit of thy cattle,
the increase of thy kine,
and the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in,
and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Deuteronomy 28:1-11 KJV

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7
Out of the attacks of evil come the victories of God and the victory chants of God's people. Let's find our strength and protection in our holy God! Let's make God our hiding place, our source of security, and our hope in times of trouble.
Your royal decrees cannot be changed. The nature of your reign, O Lord, is holiness forever. -- Psalm 93:5
The key to God's eternal reign is his holiness. God's glory is not mere strength but his perfect moral character. God will never do anything that is not morally perfect. This reassures us that we can trust him, yet it places a demand on us. Our desire to live holy lives (dedicated To God and morally clean) is our only suitable response. We must never use unholy means to reach a holy goal, for God says, “Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy” (Leviticus 19:2).
You are part of God's household, so practice holiness
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matthew 5:3-8 NIV
But the fruit of the Holy Spirit-- the work which His presence within accomplishes
is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence),
faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence).
Against such things there is no law that can bring a charge. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 1:3/KJV
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:34/KJV

What Are You Building Your Life On?
Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it:
Psalms 127:1
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,
choose you this day whom ye will serve;...
but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:15
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:11
