Pray for friend - radiation treatmentHi, sorry I haven't been on in a while. My son has a friend who was treated for thyroid cancer about two years ago, it was removed. Last fall a body scan showed something in one of her leg bones, was put on a strict diet, and tomorrow she will take a radiation pill and will be isolated from everyone for three days. She is 45 years old, single, with two minor children and a 19-year-old at home. This treatment can do a lot of damage to the bones, I understand. She is a Christian, praise God.

Pray for friendHer name is Terry. I talked to Robert and he said she had this same treatment 6 months ago, and this is supposed to be the last one. She had the radiation pill yesterday (Wednesday). I'm not sure if this is just routine or what, but I do remember that they (doctors) were concerned about something - the reason they put her on a strict diet then for a while.

Prayer for friendGod is Good! Terry's radiation and scan results showed her to be "squeaky clean" as she told it. I think she is now able to wait a year for another checkup. The thing, whatever it was, apparently was of nothing important.
