Posting Images at The Gathering Place HomeThe tool that Phpbb has created can be accessed by clicking the link under the text area that users type text into. The link says "Attach File". When it is clicked, it will open this screen.
It is very simple to use.
- Place the cursor in your forum post wherever you want the image or thumbnail to appear.
- Click the Browse button and locate the file that you want to display in your post.
- Select which size that you want the image to be. The system will resize it for you.
- Select whether to rotate the image to the left, right, or not at all.
- Select whether you want the image to display as a large image or thumbnail. (Both will be a link that will open the image in a new window.)
- After all of the information has been entered, click the Upload File button.
This will insert code where the cursor was located. To view what the image will look like, scroll to the bottom of the "Post a New Topic" screen and click "Preview". Then look at your posting at the top of the window. When you are happy with the look and content of your posting, scroll to the bottom of the window and click "Submit".
