Yes, I will indeed! Can you give us her name....her first name will be ok..... and where she lives? The state will be fine. How long has she been feeling this way and has she seen a doctor at all about the condition? Does she live alone or is there someone there who can watch over her?

Her name is Karen. She lives in Pennsylvania. I don't know how long she's been feeling this way. She lives with my dad and my sister and other relatives are not too far away. (I'm the only one in my family west of Ohio.)

The doctor seems to think that mainly my mom is stressed out over her job. He gave her a prescription for an anti-anxiety medicine. (Anxiety/depression problems run in the family something fierce.) She was able to take a week off work. The doctor also thought she had anemia, so she had to go for a blood test for that. I didn't hear from her last week, so I don't know how that came out.

Thank you for letting us know. I will continue to pray for her. I am glad that nothing really BAD has shown up in her testing. At least the depression, etc. is treatable and not life threatening, although it is not any fun. That also runs in my family and my husband's family. Therefore my kids inherited some of it too. My fibromyalgia gives me problem with depression also as well as lots of other annoying ailments. I am thankful daily that my illness is something that I can live with and something that won't kill me.

The nausea and anxiety/depression had gotten so bad that they took my mom to the hospital last week. She's still there. She's had some stomach tests and it sounds like they've all come out all right. She has some kind of brain scan today. She still isn't eating. She sleeps a lot or at least keeps her eyes closed a lot. My dad is up at the hospital every day for almost 12 hours.

Karen is in my prayers. I am assuming she is in a major hospital or at least somewhere that the testing being done is the best available. If not, please get them to move her somewhere that you can be assured of the best care for her. That is sooooo terribly important in cases like this.

I really don't know much about hospitals. The one she's in has been around forever and other members of my family have stayed there. That's about all I know. My sister had a medical career and is more up on medical stuff than I am, so I asked her what she thinks. (The first room she was in, she had a noisy roommate so she wanted to move, so whenever a bed became empty in another room, they moved her, so it sounds like they have a responsive staff at least.)

Hopefully your sister will keep careful track of what is happening with her. Having someone aware of what is going on is very important.

My mom is home from the hospital now. She is on oxygen all of the time. My aunt isn't exactly sure why but it doesn't sound like a permanent thing and no one seems all that concerned about it. I haven't talked to my mom yet because I don't know if she's really up to having phone calls and I don't want to call if she's sleeping.

We will just keep praying for her and hopefully this won't be something that will turn out to be really serious as far as her future health is concerned.
