Like Singing in the Choir II 11/12/07

On most Sundays you can find my wife and I in the choir at church, and this Sunday was no exception. What was different was that we had to learn a different song that morning for the service. It was one we had done before, so we just had to refresh our memories. Our choir director said it sounded good, but I thought some needed more memory refreshing than others.
Isn’t it like how things go in the church? To the outside world things “Sound beautiful”, but the members know people are hitting wrong notes. Yet God is the ultimate judge of our “singing”. And He says in Psalm 100 “Make a joyful noise all ye lands…” not make a Perfect pitch song with correct rhythm and beautiful harmonies. No, He says make a joyful noise! So get out there and Sing!
