Remember
The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember...
Abraham was old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
Mary Magdalene was, well you know
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Timothy had an ulcer..
AND
Lazarus was dead!
Now! No more excuses! God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
God’s waiting to use your full potential.

Things to remember…..
God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
Dear God, I have a problem, it's Me.
Growing old is inevitable ... growing UP is optional.
There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.
Do the math .. count your blessings.
Faith is the ability to not panic.
Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.
If you worry, don't pray ... If you pray, don't worry.
As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home everyday.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
The most important things in your house are the people.
When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Lessons Learned from Noah's Ark
Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark...
One: Don't miss the boat.
Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six: Build your future on high ground.
Seven: For safety sake, travel in pairs.
Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine: When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

Philippians 4:13 --- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

Ten Questions Jesus Might Ask You
If you never felt pain, how would you know that I am a Healer?
If you never went through difficulty, how would you know that I am a Deliverer?
If you never made a mistake, how would you know that I’m forgiving?
If you were never in trouble, how would you know that I will come to your rescue?
If you were never broken, how would you know that I can make you whole?
If you never had a problem, then how would you know that I can solve them?
If you never had known suffering, then how would you know what I went through?
If I never corrected you, how would you know that I love you?
If you had all power, then how would you learn to depend on me?
If your life was perfect, then what would you need me for?

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Psalm 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
When our burdens are too much to bear, we should have given them to Jesus all along. The Lord gives us grace for every hour. We can bring all of our requests to the Lord and we know that He hears our prayers and will answer us. He will give us grace and He will sustain us. Our help comes from the Lord. He is our Strength for every day.
Give your burdens to the Lord.
Praise the name of Jesus!
Leave It There
(Gospel Song)
If the world from you withhold of its silver and its gold,
And you have to get along with meager fare,
Just remember, in His Word, how He feeds the little bird;
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
Refrain
Leave it there, leave it there,
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
If you trust and never doubt, He will surely bring you out.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
If your body suffers pain and your health you can't regain,
And your soul is almost sinking in despair,
Jesus knows the pain you feel, He can save and He can heal;
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
Refrain
When your enemies assail and your heart begins to fail,
Don't forget that God in Heaven answers prayer;
He will make a way for you and will lead you safely through.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
Refrain
When your youthful days are gone and old age is stealing on,
And your body bends beneath the weight of care;
He will never leave you then, He'll go with you to the end.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
Refrain

Jesus promised us that He would never leave us, nor
forsake us. What a privilege to KNOW Him as our Savior and
Lord! What a mighty God we serve. Through every storm and every trial...every sunny day and every mile, Jesus is with us! Bless His name forever! We are content in knowing that He is with us as we journey and He will be with us when our life on earth is through. This world is not our home and we should not covet the things of this world. We should be laying our treasures up in Heaven...looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith!

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20
God, Speak to Me Author unknown
The little child whispered,
"God, speak to me"
And a meadowlark sang.
But the child did not hear.
So the child yelled,
"God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.
The child looked around and said,
"God let me see you"
And a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice.
And the child shouted,
"God show me a miracle!"
And a life was born
But the child did not know.
So the child cried out in despair,
"Touch me God......
And let me know you are there!"
Whereupon God reached down
And touched the child.
But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly.
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they who know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken those who seek thee. Psalms 9: 9-10
God's Warrior
A quote by Robert Murry McShane, a Scottish minister - 1838
“I fear there are some Christians among you to whom Christ cannot say well done good and faithful servant. Your haughty dwelling arises amidst thousands that have scarce a fire to warm themselves and have but little clothing to keep out the biting frost. You heave a sigh perhaps at a distance, but you do not visit them. Ah, my dear friends, I am not concerned for the poor but more for you, I don’t know what Christ will say to you on the great day. You seem to be Christians yet you don’t care for his poor. What a change will pass upon you as you enter the gates of heaven. You will be saved but that will be all. There will be no abundance entrance for you. He who soweth sparingly reaps sparingly and I fear there may be many hearing me that now know they are not Christians because they do not love to give. To give largely and liberally not grudging at all requires a new heart. An old heart would rather depart with its life blood than its money. So friends, enjoy your money, make the most of it, give none away, for I can tell you, you will be beggars throughout eternity.”
