G’day Y’all*,
Excuse me for getting a little passionate about this, but I was once an atheist, largely because I’d been indoctrinated at public school that the theory of evolution is true and therefore concluded that the Bible couldn’t possibly be. I now know that God not only exists, but that He loves me personally, and I teach a Bible study at my church exposing evolution as nothing more than the biologically impossible hoax that it is. The attached article just goes to show how insane the world has become. But for the grace of God, that would have been me.

If lawmakers would get the lies out of the text books, get their facts straight about human origins, base their lawmaking on scripture, or even just use an ounce of common sense, ridiculous arguments like the one in this article wouldn’t last beyond the first sentence. Instead of having a certain law changed to include animals, or a new law introduced to allow certain processes to take place to afford proper care for abandoned animals, some whacko groups in Austria (not Australia – very important J ) are actually trying to have a chimpanzee legally declared to be a person.

If the Lord tarries, maybe He’ll give me a long enough life to see people having this same debate about a jellyfish, an ameba, a bubble that washed up on the beach and hasn’t popped yet, or maybe an empty coke can. It’s probably only a matter of time!

Then again, maybe I don’t want to be here that long.

Here is a fantastic video link exposing 30 foundational lies that remain in our high school and college text books in the name of evolution. These claims have been proven invalid decades ago, and even evolutionists don’t teach them any more because they don’t believe them either. Yet they remain in the public school text books and are taught to our children as if they are established scientific facts.

I’ve learned from my studies in creation vs. evolution that most of us want to “test all things and hold fast to that which is good”, and we think that we do, but we don’t really know how to because we’re unaware of how Satan goes about wreaking such widespread havoc. As a result, it isn’t hard at all for the enemy to pull of a hoax like this one, even among Christians. There are many of them. In fact, a lot of Christians believe in the theory of evolution.

he trick to “testing all things” is to drill down to wherever a particular belief/doctrine begins and look for obvious contradictions in the foundational thought. Also, find out who came up with it and what agendas they had. Pulling of a global hoax involves, in part:

*Turning a foundational truth around the other way
Leaving out actual facts that prove the hoax idea to plainly be untrue
*Using lofty dazzling “facts” (so called) that are above most people’s heads to make it sound plausible, and
*Keeping the people who are being brainwashed ignorant of the history behind the belief.

That way, they’ll be dazzled by the so called “evidence”, less able to recognize the solid evidence that contradicts it when confronted with it, ignorant of the need to question what they’ve been taught, and oblivious to the danger. Do that with enough people and it first becomes popular opinion, then eventually accepted “fact”. The people who see through the hoaxes start to sound like lunatics to the majority are treated accordingly.

For example, in evolution:

“Life comes from non-life.” That alone is plainly impossible.
“One kind of animal turns into another kind of animal.” That is genetically impossible, has never been observed in nature, and no fossils have ever been found that turned out to be a transitional animal. (Statistically, they should outnumber the fossils of “completed” animals by billions if the changes were gradual, but none have ever been found. Count ‘em; NONE!)

The method used to determine the age of the Earth’s layers is by the kinds of fossils that are found in them, but the way the ages of the fossils is determined is by the layers that they’re found in. That’s circular reasoning and doesn’t teach us anything (except that we’re probably being had).

The scientific evidence doesn’t actually point to an old earth that came into being by accident and survival of the fittest over billions of years. However, it is consistent with a quick creation, a young Earth, and a global flood.

I urge everyone to not take it for granted that any popular ideas, even religious doctrines – especially religious doctrines - are true just because they seem to be scriptural and most people believe them. These are the last days, and we do indeed live in perilous times. Drill down to the foundational ideas, check the history of what you’re being taught, look for blatant contradictions, and recognize that there is Pharisee in all of us that can blind us to what we just don’t want to know about (see John 9).

May God bless us with wisdom and keep us all safe from the angel of light who seeks to destroy us.

However, there won’t be a revival if we don’t test things and see through the numerous hoaxes that keep us divided as people and be united in a common understanding and deeper intimacy with the Lord. If there is any kind of revival aside from that, the issues that divide us will remain and the revival will be based more on well intended feelings than facts, and therefore more on compromise than truth. The reformation came about because of people like Martin Luther. He recognized the blatant contradictions in established religious beliefs, compared them to scripture, got his facts straight, and was faithful to those facts (and therefore to God). As a result of the faith and steadfast obedience of that one man to the simple and obvious facts of the issues he faced, 540 million people now enjoy the freedom to have their own copies of the Bible in their own languages and to read them to their heart’s content while nurturing a personal relationship with God through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son.

Yes, Terri, you’re absolutely right. We need a revival!
