Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well, recovered from Thanksgiving and looking forward to Christmas. We are in full swing on all fronts. Our Christmas program at church will be this Sunday night so the flurry of practices will come to an end. Our church dinner was last Sunday and we all enjoyed good food and good company. Our District banquet is next week but we don't know if we will be able to attend. There is so much going on we just can't squeeze in everything.
On the personal side, our son, his wife and little boy, AKA Radar, came up for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful week that went way to quickly. The weather wasn't as cooperative as we would have liked but it could have been much worse. We did get to the farm a couple of times to ride the horses. The kids had a great time and I think our DDIL is now a die hard walking horse fan. She had a wonderful time. We are hoping to make a trip down home for Christmas but don't know if we can work out the logistics.
We are in the process of moving our 11 horse herd from the farm we have been renting to a new barn much closer to home. It is quite a job but will be so much better once we get everyone in place. Not as much turnout but miles upon miles of mountain trails to ride and close friends to ride with. We are very excited.
It snowed here yesterday and school was cancel
led. We are on a 2 hour delay today so we are about to take our DGS, Knock, for a nice breakfast at McDonald's. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Stay warm and Happy Trails!
