I got this message from my sister who lives in Houston today. Following her message is my reply.
"Guess what? My tomato plant (covered) survived our light freeze with only a relatively small number of shoots zapped. It is bearing golf-balled sized fruit."
That is unbelievable. We have daffodils blooming in the neighborhood, my honeysuckle on the mail box is blooming and I noticed iris at the church almost ready to open their blooms. This has been a crazy winter but an enjoyable one.
