I haven't tried this. If any of you do decide to try it, let me know how it worked for you.
This definitely is a winter day project but you'll be glad you took the time before the rush of spring.
1. This can be done either with black and white newspaper or heavy duty paper toweling. Cut strips 1 -2 inches wide.
2. Mix up a thick paste solution from all purpose flour and a little water.
3. Space the seeds as you would normally plant in the garden. Check planting guide if in doubt (usually on the back of the seed packet.)
4. Glue the seeds to the paper with the paste.
5. Let dry.
6. Roll up and label.
7. Store in a container, or zip lock bag with a little salt or dry powdered milk. This will keep the packet dry.
Roll out your garden in the Spring:
Prepare your soil, roll out the prepared seeds on the paper, covering them accordingly with soil.

Seed TapeThis sounds like a great way to give seeds as a gift. I will try it if I can remember to. I am famous for my nonexistent memory.

Private EmailDid you send it to my Yahoo address? I looked but it may have just not gotten there yet. I'll keep checking. I have been having fun posting pics today. It's so nice to aquire a new skill. LOL I'm like a kid with a new toy. Problem is, if I don't do it every few days I will forget how it works. That is why I need the notes. I'm like that girl in 50 first dates.

Yep, your yahoo address is the ony one I have. Do you use another one for your private emails? Did you ever get it? I just need to know what method you are using for posting. If you are doing something other than using the service provided here I need to know what you are using. Everything posted through the provided service php BB2 will automatically disappear in a month is someone hasn't clicked on it during that time. The pictures are mostly so big anyway that I doubt that anyone is actually clicking on them. We desperately need a new way to post so they won't go away!!!!!!!!!!!! Many of the posts depend on the pictures to make any sense and we just can't have them going away!!!!!

Personal EmailI have gotten several personal emails from you today at my yahoo address but it is just the update notification for this thread. No personal message.
I am using photobucket.com and I don't have any information about disappearing pictures. I had never heard of that before but as I said, I am a computer dummy. The program is easy to use and it resizes your pictures. It has the link for you so all you have to do is copy and paste. I could never do it if I had to type all that in. You just highlight the link and click. Very simple. Is there a way that you can block the rest of us from clicking on a thread? If so, I could send a picture on a thread to the test forum and in a month you would know if it disappears or not. May be some way to find out quicker. I will look into it for you.
I agree with you about needing the pictures to stay. What good is a post in the photo forum if it has no photo with it?
I'll let you know what I find out.
Do you think this is how God puts an exclamation point on a promise?

Zanymuse prefers Blogger so far for posting her pictures. (Anyone can see her info. in the test forum) I don't know if she has tried Photo Bucket or not. Whatever works best for each person would be what I think they should use. php BB2 is the only one that deletes in a month so if newbies use it, we will probably have to change those over for them so they won't go away.
Did you take that picture? It is wonderful! I think your pictures will stay and not go away. It is just the ones using php BB2 that will go away. It is not our site that does that but rather the php BB2 site that deletes pictures that they think are no longer being used. Probably their attempt to save storage space. Thanks for sharing your information with us.
I have sent you several personal emails in the past at your Yahoo address. Have you gotten any of them? That is the address I put in my personal email address book for you. If you have another that you use for your personal email you might want to/might not want to send me that one. If you want to do that, just send me an email at the address on the Yahoo message. If you have deleted it, send it to me by a personal site email here at TGP.

AddressThe yahoo address is the only one I have. I have gotten your other mails.
I did not take that picture. I got it as a forward from a friend. I get lots of them and save the nice ones to use as backgrounds for our church. We use the computer to put the songs on the screen and the pictures make them beautiful. A ministry in itself.
I have to get off this computer and get my things packed for this week. We want to have the van packed tonight so we can leave right after church tomorrow. Have a good week.
