He Will Never Fail to See You Through
Author unknown
The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind.
The withered flowers hold the seeds of promise,
The winter days are harbingers of spring;
The trials that may often seem most bitter
May bring to you the joy that makes you sing.
The sorrows that have come to you unbidden
Have often brought a peace before unknown.;
the Maker of your destiny is striving
To fit your heart to be His royal throne
Your roses may have thorns, but don't forget
Your thorns may have some roses, too;
The Lord of great compassion loves you yet,
And He will never fail to see you through.

Wings of Love
Murray Wagler
Strife and turmoil surround me.
Casting all peace to the side.
Walking through a fiery desert,
With no rest in plain view.
I search for that well of life.
A refreshing for my soul.
I long for it's mysterious source.
But it seems so far away.
Wandering through this torrid land.
Does strange things to your sight.
You chase after the things that aren't
While blind to those that are.
That mysterious well is not far away.
Just open your eyes and see.
Humble yourself at His Throne of Grace,
Here lies water to refresh your soul.
He cast His shadow over you.
Sustains you as you journey along.
Guarding your path and watching over you.
Safe under his wings of refuge.

Romans 8:28 (NRSV) "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose."
The Will of God
The will of God will never take you,
Where the Grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the Arms of God cannot support you,
Where the Riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the Power of God cannot endow you.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the Wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the Army of God cannot protect you,
Where the Hands of God cannot mold you.
The Will of God will never take you,
Where the Love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the Mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the Peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the Authority of God cannot overrule for you.
The will of God will never take you,
Where the Comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the Miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the Omnipresence of God cannot find you.

Everything happens for a purpose. We may not see the wisdom of it all now, but trust and believe in the Lord that everything is for the best.

The Secret
I met God in the morning
When the day was at its best.
His presence came like sunrise,
Like a glory within my breast.
All day long His presence lingered,
All day long He stayed with me;
And we sailed in perfect calmness
O'er a very troubled sea.
Other ships were blown and battered,
Other ships were sore distressed;
But the wind that seemed to drive them,
Brought to us a peace and rest.
Then I thought of other mornings
With a keen remorse of mind,
When I too, had loosed the moorings,
With His presence left behind.
So I think I know the secret,
Learned from many a troubled way;
You must seek God in the morning,
If you want Him through the day.

What God Hath Promised!
God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way,
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.

O! For a Perfect Trust
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee. Isaiah 26:3
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
My loving God, in Thee;
Unwavering faith that never doubts
Thou choosiest best for me.
Best, though my plans be all upset;
Best though my way be rough;
Best, though my earthly store be scant;
In Thee I have enough.
Best, though my health and strength be gone;
Though weary days be mine;
Shut out from much that others have;
Not my will, Lord, but Thine.
And e'en though disappointments come,
They, too, are best for me
To wean me from this changing world
And lead me nearer Thee.
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
That looks away from all;
That sees Thy hand in everything,
In great events and small.
That hears Thy voice — a Father's voice —
Directing for the best —
O! for the peace of a perfect trust,
A heart with Thee at rest.

Moment by Moment
Never a trial that He is not there;
Never a burden that He doth not bear;
Never a sorrow that He doth not share,
Moment by moment I'm under His care.
Never a heartache, and never a groan,
Never a tear-drop, and never a moan,
Never a danger but there, on the throne,
Moment by moment, He thinks of His own.
Never a weakness that He doth not feel;
Never a sickness that He cannot heal,
Moment by moment, in woe or in weal,
Jesus, my Savior, abides with me still.

Our Faith
Our faith in God is easy when the
Waters 'round are stilled,
When the voyage undertaken finds
Our dreams and hopes fulfilled.
But holding on to God is hard
When wrestling with our doubt,
And when the storms are fiercest,
And our boat is tossed about.
It's then our faith is shaken,
When the Master's sound asleep,
Not knowing we are sinking, and
The waters 'round are deep.
We wonder then how He, Who's Lord
Of all the land and sea,
Could seem to be so unaware
Of our catastrophe.
It's when our faith seems weakest,
God will calm the sea and soul
And when we are most broken that
He'll touch, and make us whole.

He Giveth More Grace
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials he multiplies peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.
Annie J. Flint (1866-1932)
The author of the poem, Annie Johnson Flint, suffered with arthritis for 40 years. But that terrible affliction did not embitter her. And out of the crucible of her suffering came a new and beautiful understanding of the meaning of guidance expressed in these lovely words: "He giveth more grace"
Jesus said in Matthew 11:30:
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Psalm 63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore
in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

God Is Better Than Our Fears
Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I give my life into Thy hands
For all the round of coming years,
Fears throng the future's shadowy way;
My God is better than my fears.
I cast my care upon Thy heart,
The cares that cost me anxious tears,
Thy heart shall bear my burdens up;
God's love is better than my fears!
I yield my will to Thy dear will,
Thy will but as Thy love appears;
The twain are blended into one;
Thy love is better than my fears.

Let Go Let God Author unksnown
Let go of all your worries,
Let God see you through;
Just turn it over to Him,
Then they will be so few.
He's there just for the asking,
As we pray to Him each day;
To help us climb the mountains,
That might get in our way.
So when troubles fall upon us,
Get down upon your knees;
He'll lift your spirits upward,
If only you'll say, "Please."
"Help me, God, I need you now,
Don't ever go away;
Your precious Son, my Jesus,
His life for me did pay."
So, today, I will let go,
And let God have it all;
Then tomorrow I'll look back,
And say, "It seemed so small."
