Choir performances are like life...Choir performances are like life... you just have to keep goingSunday morning we did about half the christmas program, and boy did things go wrong. We had problems with the sound, the monitors weren't working, the mikes on the actors developed severe scratching noises, and we had plenty of feedback. On one number the CD even started to skip! (I thought that went out with records!) We started that song over. Even though we had all those problems, we still got through it. We will all have problems in life. With God's help we will be able to keep on "performing" for Him! EmpathyIt sounds like what happened to us last night! The main spotlight blew it's very expensive bulb just as the first scene began. Due to the cost we didn't have a replacement so we had no main spotlight. We used the small one and tried to bolster it with one of those clamp on lights that looks like a tin funnel. Didn't help much but we felt like we were doing something. LOL They had to have some lights on behind the scenes so we were able to see what was going on backstage behind the curtains. That added a bit to things that kind of rounded out the experience. The play was great! I'm sure it will be remembered for a loooong time. LOL |

Surprisingly, it may be the performances that were struggling to overcome Satan's interference that will be remembered the longest. "The show must go on"...even if it is not as perfect as desired.
