Who is this person and why?

Comme ca va mon ami? I would like to introduce myself a bit. I am from South Louisiana and am now living in Eastern Kentucky which is why I call myself CajuninKy. I moved here in 2003 with my husband and 2 dogs. About a year later our grown daughter and precious grandson moved here to be with us. We pastor a church here in the mountains and really like it here. It is quite a bit different than life on the bayou and each day I learn something new about the local culture. There are always good things and bad things about relocating. We never have to worry about hurricanes or fire ants, and there are few mosquitoes here. But you just can't get good seafood here and that one really hurts. Of course we miss our family and wish the rest of the clan were here, but God gives us new blessings each day and I now look forward to sharing some of them with you.
My goal with this forum is to share my everyday life in hopes that it might be of encouragement to someone. I would also like to give everyone a glimpse into the "normal" happenings of a pastor and family. You will find we are frail humans who make mistakes, fight battles, suffer setbacks and enjoy blessings like every other human. We do not possess any super powers and we need prayers to carry out the calling God has placed on our lives. I hope you will pray for us as you read about our lives. Enjoy!
