I was saved when I was 13 when I actually listened to the sermons that I had heard all my life. I was baptized that same day in the river that passed behind the church while everyone sang Shall We Gather At The River. It was raining and cold but I didn't want to wait because I was so excited. Sometimes, when I start to allow myself to become distant from the Lord I think about that day and feel my faith revived.

What a wonderful experience for you, Zany. Thank you for sharing that with us. It gives me chills down my spine just thinking about your baptism. How marvelous! If my memory serves me correctly, your dad is a preacher, isn't he? I seem to recall that you were busy at one time putting his sermons online, weren't you. Did you ever get that project underway and if so, could you or would you share that site location with us?

I have just had a quick look at your dad's site, Zany, and it is fabulous. I plan to spend many hours there. I can tell that you came by your witty way of looking at life naturally. You are a "chip off the old block".

The Sadie Solomon cartoons are just delightful. There is so much wisdom in each of them. Please tell your dad that I think his site is absolutely great!
