The Angels Sing

A quest,
a journey
traveled far
a searcher looking
found the star.

Not many came
(they seldom do)
to seek the King
they're all too few.

We saw him born
then watched him grow
and never guessed
He would love us so.

And yet the baby
lying there
(in a manger) in the barn
would be the one
we waited for
to free us from sins' harm.

And so it goes
He grew to be the Savior
and the King!
The Prince of peace
is risen now:
Hear the Angels sing!
