THAT'S GOD

Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for?
THAT'S GOD. He talks to you through the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to?
THAT'S GOD .. . .. He wants you to talk to Him.

Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in a long time and then next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them?
THAT'S GOD .. . . there is no such thing as coincidence.

Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford?
THAT'S GOD. .. . He knows the desires of your heart. . .

Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it?
THAT'S GOD. . . He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day.

God Is

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and
The Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be...
Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and
The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him,
The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and
The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him,
Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and
Donahue can't explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and
His mind is on me.
He is my Redeemer,
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and
He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and
He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and
His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
The power of the powerful,
The ancient of days, the ruler of rulers,
The leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and
The sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.
And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.
His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
Never forsake me,
Never mislead me,
Never forget me,
Never overlook me, and
Ever cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody, everywhere,
Every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful.
I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side, and
That means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!

TEN THINGS GOD WON'T ASK

1. God won't ask what kind of car you drove, He'll ask how many
people you drove who didn't have transportation.

2. God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how
many people you welcomed into your home.

3. God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll
ask how many you helped to clothe.

4. God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you
compromised your character to obtain it.

5. God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you
performed your job to the best of your ability.

6. God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many
people to whom you were a friend.

7. God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you
treated your neighbors.

8. God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the
content of your character.

9. God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, He'll
lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates
of Hell.

10. God won't ask how many people you forwarded this to, He'll ask if you were ashamed to pass it on to your friends.

God Loves You

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.

Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!
A few thoughts.....

I am too blessed to be stressed.

The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything.

Comments about God
Authors unknown

The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us; just as the roof of a sun house does not attract the sun because it is bright, but becomes bright because the son shines on it. Author unknown

"He Himself is the fuel our spirits were designed to burn, or the food our spirits were designed to feed on. There is no other."

"When you are arguing against Him, you are arguing against the very power that makes you able to argue at all."

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world".

"I am perfectly convinced that whatever the gospels are they are not legends. I have read a great deal of legend and I am quite clear they are not that sort of thing....Christ bent down and scribbled in the dust with His finger. Nothing comes of this. No one has based any doctrine on it. And the act of inventing little irrelevant details to make an imaginary scene more convincing is purely a modern art."

"Faith is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted in spite of your changing moods."

Good morning, this is God.
I will be handling all of your problems today,
I will not need your help,
so, have a wonderful day.

Turn everything over to Him, folks. What a way to start the day!

"This is the day that the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Say you are well, or all is well with you,
And God shall hear your words and make them true.

I never really look for anything. What God throws my way comes. I wake up in the morning and whichever way God turns my feet, I go. ~Pearl Bailey

Things Seen in the Light of God

Here is the great truth that, only when we see things in the light of God, do we see things as they are. It is only when we see things in the light of God that we see what things are really important, and what things are not. These things seem vastly important, things like ambition, and prestige, and money and gain, lose all their value and importance when they are seen in the light of God. Pleasures and habits and social customs which seem permissible enough, are seen for the dangerous things they are when they are seen in the light of God. Things which seem evils, hardship, toil, discipline, unpopularity, even persecution, are seen in their glory when they are seen in the light of God.

God In the Cloud

The tabernacle had just been completed. This had been a united effort by all the people. "On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, a cloud covered the tabernacle. " This was God's seal of approval for a job well done, and the fulfillment of His promise that He would be with them on their journey.
There could be no dispute about which path to take. When the cloud lifted, the Israelites would march, and when the cloud settled over an area, the children of Israel would camp. They only journeyed when the cloud led them.
God guided and the people trusted that God knew the way they should go. He was not distant, but ever-present to guide and protect them on their way to the Promised Land. Their part was to exercise their faith, be patient, and be ready to follow when the cloud lifted.

God is the same today as yesterday,
He has given us His Spirit to guide us on our journey.
He asks for our faith and trust, our willingness to wait for His timing, and our readiness to go at His command.
