Report from our men's retreat.

This past weekend 21 men from our church, including our pastor, went to our state convention's sponsored Men's retreat. Even though there were winter storm warnings for our area we headed up north to the camp near Roscommon Mi. After driving in the snow for about an hour, we left the falling snow behind us and made it safely to the camp. In fact everyone made it safe, even those leaving late! The Ann Arbor area got about 8-10 inches of new snow.We were all blessed by great music and fellowship, and tremendous preaching by Jerry Moore from Florida. (I had never met a blind man who had been healed before!) There was a huge responce to his altar call on Sunday morning. I think 6-8 men from our church went forward (I didn't want to stand there and count you know, but I had to look 'cause my entire row went forward except for 2 of us.)
I hope and pray that this will be the start of a super year.

I am freezing just looking at those neat pictures. Brrrr! You guys are really from tough stock going on a retreat in that kind of weather. We southerners would be holed up somewhere waiting for the spring thaw. I really like that last picture.

Yea, I used my gorilla-pod and wrapped it around the side view mirror of a pickup truck to get the shot.
