PROPHECY OF THE EXACT DAY JESUS WOULD ENTER JERSELUM
Nehemiah 2:1 says “The first day of the month of Nisan”, according to the Talmud (a collection of writings that constitute Jewish civil and religious law), is the New Year for the computation of the reign of kings and for the festivals.  The Royal Observatory, Greenwich, United Kingdom, computed the first of Nisan in King Artaxerxes’ twenieth year as March 14, 445 B.C.

Second from the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem” given on March 14,445B.C. There is a period of “seven weeks” (7x7=49 years), and sixty-two weeks (62x7=434 years) which total 69 weeks of years (69x7 years – 483 biblical years.  This period of 483 biblical years equals 173,880 days (483x360 days = 173,880 days).

Third, at the end of the 69 weeks (483 years), or 173,880 days, there will be a time when according to Daniel, the “Messiah will be cut off”.  On the 10th day of Nisan, April 6, A.D. 32, on Palm Sunday, Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem and presented Himself as “the Messiah” in fulfillment of this prophecy.

On that significant day the Messiah rode into Jerusalem on the back of a foal.  His disciples recognized Him as the Messiah and proclaimed, “Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heave, and glory in the highest” (Luke 19:38).

REBIRTH OF ISRAEL 1948

Throughout the Old Testament there are prophecies of a final return of the Jewish exiles to the Promised Land in the last days.  Considering the precision with which God revealed the time of the earlier dispersions and captivities, it seemed likely that hidden somewhere in Scripture there would be a clue revealing the time when the Jews would return from their final worldwide captivity to their Promised Land and once again establish a nation.  This was what Grant Jeffrey, a Bible scholar thought.  So he sought an answer.
The prophet Ezekiel, like Daniel, was carried off to Babylon as a captive.  He prophesied there for about 20 years.  Also, like Daniel, he was aware from Jeremiah’s prophecies that the captivity in Babylon would be 70 years.  All 3 prophets were contemporaries of each other.  When the Lord appeared to Ezekiel in a vision, He gave him the prophecy found in Ezekiel 4:3-6.
In this prophecy we are given a sign and a clear interpretation that each day represents one biblical year.  Ezekiel was told that Israel would be punished for a period of 390 years and for 40 years.  As prophesied by Jeremiah, at the end of the 70 years of captivity in Babylon during the spring of 536 B.C., in the month of Nisan and under the decree of the Persian king, Cyrus, a small remnant of the house of Judah returned to Jerusalem.  The vast majority were content to remain in the pagan Persian Empire as colonists,
From the total decreed punishment of 430 years for Israel  and Judah’s sin (390 + 40 = 430 years), deducting the 70 years of the Babylonian captivity which ended in 536 B.C., there remains a total of 360 years of further punishment beyond 536 B.C., the end of the Babylonian captivity.
When you look closely at Israel’s history it fails to yield any significant period that corresponds to this period of 360 years of additional punishment, either at the end of the 430 years or at the end of the 360 years.  It should be noted that, historically, Israel did not repent of its sin at eh end of the 70 years in Babylon.  In fact, only about 50,000 returned with Ezra to the Promised Land, and they did so with little faith.  The larger part of the nation failed to repent of the sin and disobedience that caused God to send them into captivity.  The majority of the Jews simply settled down as colonists in the Persian Empire (Iraq-Iran).
The solution to the mystery of the duration of Israel’s worldwide dispersion and return is found in a divine principle revealed in Lev. 26.  In this chapter the Lord established promises and punishments for Israel based on her obedience and her disobedience.  On 4 occasions in this passage, God told Israel that if, after being punished for her sins, she still refused to repent, the punishments previously specified would be multiplied by 7 (Lev. 26:21 ,23-24,27-28).  In other words if Israel did not repent, the punishment already promised would be prolonged or multiplied seven times: 360 years x 7 = 2,520 biblical years.  Taking God’s warning into consideration, the end of the punishment and final restoration to the land would be accomplished in 2,520 biblical years of 360 days each (the Jewish year is 360).
The end of the captivity in Babylon, according to the Bible and other historical sources, is recorded as having occurred in the spring of 536 B.C.  This date is the starting date for this calculation: 2,520 biblical years x 360 = 907,200 days.  Converting this figure into our calendar year of 365.25 days and diving 365.25 into 907,200 days we reach a total of 2,483.8 calendar years. (Only 1 yr. Between l B.C. and A.D. 1).  Therefore, the end of Israel’s worldwide captivity would occur after a total of 2,483.8 years had elapsed from the spring of 536 B.C.   From 536 B.C. plus 2483.3 calendar years and according to Grant Jeffrey it is exactly May 15, 1948!!!!!
