I tried shooting against different backgrounds in the morning light

Lovely shots! What kind of camera did you use and what settings? The different effects you achieved are very interesting..... I am just getting into photography and have soooo much to learn.

I used a Fuji 5500 digital camera. Only 3.2 mega pixls
but it works great.

I used the "macro" mode and had it set on the auto setting for the exposure. I tries different angles, one was shot up toward the sky, the other was toward the house which was in shadow. the third was a more "normal" view with the sun coming from over my shoulder.

Actually no, it isn't fragrant. But as you said it's pretty!

Hopefully I can eventually develop an eye for what will be a good picture. I wish I had you and Aloe here to work with me and teach me the ins and outs of taking good pictures. You both do such a good job.
