While studying recently, I took an account of the significance of Jerusalem and was truly surprised at just what I came up with. For example: God must have stood in the center of the earth after His completion and the approximate center of the earth is Israel; Jerusalem is the approximate center of Israel. So, I believe that the Garden of Eden would have been in the center not over on the Euphrates River. As I believe this I believe that the Tree of Life was on the "Temple Mount" or Mt. Moriah. I also believe the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was on the Mt. of Olives. Also as I read carefully I see that God planted Seeds and they grew quickly. Could it be that God did not have anything to do with the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Eveil? As I read Genesis 2:9 I start to wonder if that is not true because God would not have mixed the seed as forbidden in Numbers and He would not have had anything to do with evil. Also I k now that on the Mt. of Olives there were many fig trees for Adam and Eve to quickly make their clothes. Fig trees do not grow on the Euphrates River, and it says they made the clothes quickly. God's Word is so strong, fresh and new that it is forever challenging. Whether the Garden of Eden was in Jerusalem or not (I believe it was), there are many facts from the Bible that tell us of events of major proportion that took place in Jerusalem. Melshechiek was the first King and Priest of Salem later to be called Jerusalem; Abraham offered tithes to him and was blessed by him. Abraham offered Isaac at Mt. Moriah; the vision of Jacob is believed to have been in Jerusalem. God's name is written there and He calls it His Holy City. Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, is only about 5 miles away, and Jesus taught, healed, and did many ministries in Jerusalem. This was the city that tried, convicted, cruucified, buried and where He was resurrected. Israel was returned to the Jews in 1948 and Jerusalem in 1967. A third Temple will be built there and the Antichrist will set up his kingdom there. Praise God this is the city that Jesus will return to soon. When I collected all these thoughts I could understand why Satan tries so hard to control this city - it is God's city and His Temple has been and one day will be there. Satan has always wanted to sit in the Temple as god. That was his sin in the beginning. He still fights for that, but he will not win the fight. JESUS IS COMING SOON TO JERUSALEM AND SPLIT THE MOUNTAIN IN TWO, SET UP HIS KINGDOM AND THERE REIGN FOR 1000 YEARS!
