God's Desire

Psalms 91:1-12 - Please read this Psalm. It was written by Moses while he was in the wilderness. The reason I choose this Psalm is that this is a Psalm of protection.

I pray that you find your “Secret place of the Most High God” and dwell with Him, which has been His desire from the beginning. In these 12 verses you find 4 names for God:
El Elyon The Most High God
El Shaddai The Almighty
Yehovah The Lord
Elohim My God

God has always had a desire to dwell with man and that is the reason we were created in His likeness. God has through history had 8 dwelling places with man:

Heavenly Temple Rev. 11:19
Garden of Eden Gen. 2:8
Tabernacle of Moses Ex. 26
Tabernacle of David I Chron. 15-17
Temple of Solomon I Kings 6:2
Temple of Herod Matt. 21:12
