It's amazing to me how completely Jesus fulfilled prophecies about Himself.
But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge–to the great amazement of the governor. Matthew 27:14 NIV
He knew that answering his accusers would accomplish nothing, and there was no need to defend Himself. And by staying silent, except when asked if he really was the King of the Jews, He fulfilled scripture to the letter.
