COMPARING DANIEL WITH REVELATION

1. Both saw a final period of 7 years.
Daniel spoke of this as one week in 9:27.
John divided up the events of Rev.: 42 months & 42 months or 7 years.
2. Both saw a final 42 months of world history.
Daniel called the period in Hebrew, time, times and the dividing of time (Dan. 12:7).
John said it would last 1,260 days, or 3 ½ years (Rev. 12:6).
3. Both identified the Antichrist as a beast.
Daniel saw him as the 4th beast rising (Dan. 7:7).
John saw this beast rising from the sea (Rev. 13:1).
4. Both reveal a time of great trouble on earth.
