Aloe Said:
My family had gone to church all my life. I made a conscious decision to be saved when I was 8 or 9 years old. It was after reading a Sunday school paper and I think it was at Christmas time. I was baptized when I was 12. At that time, our particular church didn't seem to baptize anyone younger than that.

Hi Aloe,
Thanks so much for sharing your testimony with us. That is one of the sweetest things that I believe Christians can do in this life. Age twelve used to be the fairly accepted time to baptize children most of the time when I was young. Where they got that, I don't know. Maybe someone else does and can tell us. All of my grandchildren and my youngest child accepted the Lord at an early age also and they did know what they were doing. All of the oldest ones are still dedicated Christians and have never doubted their salvation to my knowledge. There are two who are 7 who have recently made their decisions and only time will tell if they feel secure with that later on.
