Ahhh, Cupcake. Again.

It has taken a year of feeding and loving her, but my little, no longer homeless Cupcake is for sure at home.

I stepped through the inside garage door to feed her tonight, and very nearly stepped on the upside down remains of some small creature. It was placed exactly where my foot steps as I go through the the door to feed her twice a day. She did not eat the creature, she has no reason to now that she gets two good meals a day, but being the excellent hunter that she is, she brought it to me, her family.

I understand that about cats, and I didn't scold her at all. She was sitting silently watching me, perched high up on the corner garage shelf. She never said a word, just watched. And of course I thanked her and told her what a good kitty she was. But yeeech....now I have to rid the garage of the dead thing. It isn't a bird, but I did not turn its bloated body over to identify it. Perhaps an unlucky frog.

Such a sweet thoughtful kitty, I wish I could train her to clean up the mess.

At any rate, just thought you should know that Cupcake has decided she has a forever home.

Knowing that makes my heart sing with JOY! What a good kitty bringing Mama a special gift is such a sweet thing to do.

Yucky?? Very!!

And I still have it yet to clean....yechhh.
